What Happens Next:
Once you submit your application -
Please be aware that this process takes time due to the following:
The Board tries to act quickly on all requests, but the time frame for payment may take as long as two weeks.
Once you submit your application -
- the Board of Directors review the application and all associated documentation
- once this process is completed, the Board will vote on whether to grant the assistance request.
- if the request is approved, a check will be written directly to the landlord
- No checks or monies will be directly issued to the applicant.
Please be aware that this process takes time due to the following:
- the Board meets once a month on the first Saturday of each month
- when assistance requests arrive between Board meetings, the Board will vote electronically
- time required for verification of employment, residence, etc.
